Our latest release adds scenario-based testing for agents, granular data retention and redaction policy controls, custom analytics visualizations via natural language, graceful WhatsApp conversation endings, an improved status page and FreeSWITCH telephony support. It also includes reliability and performance improvements to reporting, dashboards and capacity scaling.

What's new:

Agent Bench Test

With Agent Bench Test, builders can create sample conversations for an agent and run them to check that it responds correctly. Each run produces a pass/fail score. A coverage map overlays the agent's conversation flow to show which paths are covered by tests. Scenarios can run automatically on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule, with full run history. Below is a simplified view:

Data policy for retention and PII redaction

Data protection and privacy is a fundamental requirement for enterprise AI, especially in Europe. With our new Data Redaction feature, GetVocal can detect and redact sensitive information such as credit card numbers and personally identifiable information (PII) and redact it. .In order to support our customers’ compliance with GDPR, AI regulations and best practices, agent builders can define specific retention windows for audio recordings and text transcripts prior to automated removal. Transcript masking for PII is now live with audio-based redaction coming next. You can find these options in the agent builder interface.

Flow automation updates

Flows now infer their inputs automatically, so agents call tools more reliably, having the additional benefit of further speeding up loading time for the agent builder.

Real-time per-service status is available to customers at https://status.getvocal.ai.

Leads management

A new Leads page shows full conversation history, supports search by customer-assigned lead IDs and detects when a lead already has an open conversation to prevent duplicate entries.

Other Improvements

  • A stronger password policy and FreeSWITCH telephony support with keypad input and warm transfers.
  • We identified and optimized a reporting job that was querying the database roughly more often than necessary, reducing database load and speeding up reports.
  • Dashboards and Studio load faster through bulk data fetching and lighter draft previews.
  • Automatic capacity scaling now allocates the correct number of workers under load.
  • Speech recognition handling was updated so agents correctly process duplicate speech-to-text results instead of pausing to ask the caller to repeat.
  • Ticket comments are now preserved through status changes.
  • Agent-deletion events are logged and failed calls record the reason for failure.
